Since it's likely 2017 will be the last Bash we make it to for a few years, we're planning to be there for the week before the event. We have a couple bucket list trails we haven't managed to run yet so if anyone is able to come out early next year, we'd enjoy the company on the trails.

I would assume it's easier for most to come early versus staying longer after the event.

Here's basically what we're hoping to do:
  • Moab Rim (this may be an event run)
  • Cliff Hanger
  • Prichetté :pimp1: ride along with someone
  • Canyonlands White Rim trail, just a portion
  • Arches Nat'l Park touristy thing
  • Maybe Golden Spike, not sure because I've done it before but not in the crew cab
Of course this is not set in stone so the plan may evolve as the event draws closer. Just want to give an early heads up if you need to plan in advance for vacation time.

BTW, the 2017 dates will be Sept 8th - 10th.

Sounds awesome. I've already started working on the Blazer, so I should have it done by then.

My wife says to me the other day.

You know it would be really cool to tow Horton with your crew cab and me come down in the Jimmy to next year's Blazer bash.

So I says to her

That's gonna take some coin to do so.

So she says.

Well let's figure out how to do it.

Then I just hugged her and cried some lol.

So maybe just maybe I will be there in force

I missed the talk about taking over the event/ helping out to keep it going. I'd like to be in on the next one, or let me know who has thrown their hat in the ring. I would like to do something to help as I'm sure anything helps. That also goes for this year Scott.

Since I rent a truck and trailer, getting there the Tuesday before is the earliest I can make it. Week rental is brutal, anything over is real tough.

Maybe you should just drive Bender out there. 1k buys alot of fuel.
Those new rollers you bought could do it..... just tow a tiny trailer for the spare parts and the offroad tires. Take the scenic route and keep the speed down.
