If I'd have known it was only going to be the 2 of you going I'd have made it happen too. I really enjoyed the back half of the big adventure when it was down to only a few trucks.
That's a suck driveSame here, and the fact we needed to get at least 8hrs of travel in yesterday. We ended up pushing all the way back to California and made it home around 1am this morning.
Made it home 7 hours and 15 minutes.
I thought that was smokin but Google maps said 6 hours 18 minutes to Colorado Springs. Still great time with your rig and cargo!!!
Took us almost 9 hours to get to salt lake
It wasn't from traffic lol I won't name names but the blue ones trans kept overheating...We were afraid of that so we stayed south and took 70 across to 50 through Utah/Nevada.

Don't know what you are talking about, mine never went over 184 degrees. What's with the blue trucks and trannies?
I know that you probably already know this, but locking the converter is very important. I have a toggle switch on my '70 and '72. It can be a pain, but it's better than not locking it.I didn't have tc lockup, once the sun went down the cooler temps helped a ton and we didn't have to stop
