I will be there Saturday morning 4th just long enough to drop some bang sticks. Back through for some time on the 6th. Spending the night and leaving early Tuesday morning.
Not sure of my schedule yet, am loading in Ca and unloading in Havasu barely touched the garage
Custom, oem, 8" lift, stock ride height, new, vintage, rear springs for the Blazer.
The Jimmy is done. New front end housing gussetted, new internals, ball joints and tie rod heims. One heim took me an hour, a lot of heat and a big cheater bar to back out the 7/8"-14 LH thread heim. I went to the tap drawer in the tool box and grabbed the tap to run into the bung. My shoulders are killing me. And, why do I have 2 7/8"-14 LH taps?
New seal in the front TC output. Still leaks. Even with the speedi-sleeve I put on it years ago.
AGM battery was completely toast. Will not charge. O'Reilly's warranted it at no cost. Win.

This weekend I found out my Blazer doesn't fit the trailer I borrowed. This was particularly perplexing because the same trailer pulled my Blazer when I moved out here to the sticks. It finally occurred to me that when I moved, it was on rollers, so I get to do that to get out to Moab. Kind of a drag. In other news, I have 5 rollers that won't hold air and four that apparently do. Win!
Winch rope is done.
Fuel pump upgrade is done.
Fuel sender is fixed. Maybe fixed? Replaced at least.
Tow rig still needs a driver's window motor, hopefully it'll come in by end of week.
Tie downs just shipped from Summit.
WD hitch is mostly set up, just need the tie downs so I can get on a scale.
I just need to fiddle with my 203 shifter and see what the boot is catching on, I can't get it into low.

So I discovered this weekend that is is now 4 full lanes from North of Moab, all the way through to the Shell station by the Branding Iron. So I will never experience driving in stop and go traffic next to @fastazz81 and @76zimmer on Hwy 191 through Moab again...

Im a bit bummed not making it this year, especially after such a great trip last year.
lots of things happening from labor day for a couple weeks that made me decide to skip this year.
Drag week is the big one, as I’ll be traveling from track to track (not racing though). Could be years if they ever get in my area again.
