Doing some work to the K5 just thought i would share some pics. Installed 2x6 1/4 wall rock slides and few new bars in the cage and i'm in the starting on the front.

Man, I like those rock slides. I never thought of using 1x6, I have some 2x6 but the 1 inch looks good

It's 2x6. I cut the floor out so bottom of the 2x6 would be the same as the floor to get a little more ground clearance

How did you tie the rock slider into the rocker box?

The rocker box is gone the slider tie's into frame i used 2x2 1/4 wall from frame to slider, and welded the slider in just like a factory rocker.The cage is tied into the slider and frame.

I like it just one questions you have it torn down so much why not go through the dash with the cage. Or did you have the cage before you started hacking away.

The cage was already in and there really was no good way to tie into it. And everyone goes threw dash just wanted to be a little diffrent

This point of view of the cage reminds me of a mirror in front of another mirror.
Can we get some close-ups of the sliders? mmm sliders....
