What would a good price be for a used Blazer cap be ? A guy near me has one for sale and I was wondering if was a decent price.

I saw a 73-75 top restored perfectly on Ebay that sold for $800. It sounds bad, but think about it. If LMC charges a few hundred bucks for weather stripping for it, $800 all of a sudden doesn't sound so bad for the entire thing. A 76-91 shouldn't be nearly that expensive. The first generation tops would be comparable to the 73-75 ones.

Chevy good...Ford bad

He's asking $450 so it sounds like a good price. You're right when you break it down, that's pretty decent.

Those early tops go for that much!! Wow. I see them locally now and then for a couple hundred and I laugh thinking its high. My bad. The later ones I see for fifty to a hundred. I wish I kept the couple I got rid of but they take up too much room. Worth it if they get that much. I live in MA where they all rust out so they get parted, maybe that has something to do with the cheap price

Here in Ohio, I have seen several advertised and they are never asking more than $200-$250.

Todays local want ad here just listed one for a 85, blue, $20. Although that is cheaper than most of the time it is typical

i just paid $10 for a cap, no windows but it's sanded nicely and primed for painting....found it locally through E-Bay.
