#0510 Chalet is back, this time on eBay. Previously briefly seen in an October 2018 Scottsdale AZ Craigslist ad for $19,900 (preserved in this DeadClutch site copy linky), its Buy-it-Now price is $35k, with exactly zero improvements seen since the last time. No offense to the seller, but the highest price I'm aware of for a Chalet restored nearly to showroom new was #0099 in the neighborhood of $12 to $14k, several years back. Add a couple thou to that 'collector value' price for inflation, then work backwards for the defects in this one that need fixing: non-original camper carpet, faded door decal, split dinette seat, removal of the door speakers, lift removal / original suspension put back … and then there's the problem of the non-numbers matching rebuilt engine. What you may end up with is a rig worth probably nothing above $8k if even that, if major repair work is needed for the cab floor and other items.
