I know that there are genuine Blazer Chalets out there but are there any campers that will fit similarly to those old original ones?

yes you run into one on craigslist about once a year. the ones i have seen are smaller.or shorter overall, they didn`t hang out past the tail lights.

They have made some that are pop ups. I don't know the proper term but hey are basically cab high extended over and the hard top portion of the cab and then have a canvas section that can be raised. I love that kind

Blazer manufacturing in Denver made a pop up camper. I was told they are in southern California now doing restorations. But under a different name.

Four Wheel Campers and Hallmark made them. I have had one of each and I liked the Hallmark better.

Thanks for the replies, guys. A buddy of mine has an old Toyota camper and I think a blazer camper would be equally cool and useful for me.

Luck of the draw on finding the various random aftermarket pop-ups for sale. I try to do fairly frequent Craigslist nationwide searches for "blazer chalet" or "blazer camper", and with the second variation there I see almost nothing but the standard caps for sale. However, a few folks do actually have Chalet camper units without knowing what they are called, and most others have either a 4Wheel or Hallmark one. Maybe once a year a Sportsman version becomes available.
