Looks like a kid for sureThat last photo is real and no one lived anywhere near where we were. Freaky !!!!!!
Ah, yes, Chalet #0258. It's had an entertaining sales history. In my pile of ebay/Craigslist printouts, I first saw it in an Oct 2005 Newton NJ ebay auction where it went for $3,550.01, then in April 2006 it reappeared on ebay in Orem Utah with a winning bid of $586, won by one of the members of azblazer's Yahoo Chalet forum. In 2011, he put it in a Thurston WA Sept 2011 Craigslist ad for $3500, where it got picked up by some dealer/flipper who tried to act like he'd owned it for years by using the exact same Craigslist wording copied into his October 2011 ebay listing. Ebay nailed him for that misrepresentation, I think. Last I saw of it in the Pacific Northwest was its Salem, OR Sept 2013 ebay listing, where I assume you're the auction winner who got it for $4800. But you were listing it on ebay back last May? I would have taken the $8300 final bid offer and ran with it, that's about the neighborhood of value these are for non-factory original daily drivers. Mods like you have in it now are a different, and subjective value story, parts & labor taken into consideration. The Chalet I own is # 258 built 7th month of 1976. Once I figure out
