Blazer/Jimmy rear hatch latch assembly

I am looking for the inner mechanism for the latch assembly. I need the spring loaded part that pulls in the latch release rods. I just ordered the locking handle, but the inner parts are completely shot on mine.

Any ideas where I could get one?

Are you talking about the inside handle? If so I think I have one in the garage and I can check when I get home today.

There is no inside handle on the first gen top or tailgate. I'm looking for the internal parts for the latch.

Guess I should have paid attention to your sig and I would have known you're dealing with a pre-72 Blazer.

I guess these parts are impossible to find. I might have to make something.
