Blazer move bumper opinion

I'm sure you can build a bumper cheaper than the diy4x one but its a great piece that is built well, ( still had to drill holes to make it fit in the front) but looks great , and i sure the hell would not be able to build one that looked that good View attachment 253267
It Does look good!

"Move"? Should be called "Park", by the river with your lawn chair on the front or back porch for fishing. Just hope that the trail to the river doesn't have any steep sections, since you now have the approach and departure angles of a Subaru.

(All in fun, of course)

I plan on building a monster winch bumper that is built for smashing into anybody that gets in my way on the street. It is going to look more like this bumper, but have a well section in the center area to mount an old 12,000 lbs. Desert Dynamics winch I have. I would like to build a set of rock sliders that are mainly built to handle a side impacts or broadsides on the street as well.

At least that isn't super low like it's dragging over everything in its path

(All in COMPLETE 100% SERIOUSNESS, of course)

It’s not bad at all just still to bulky for me .

First time I saw this bumper I thought, "need to take a torch, cut out MOVE, flip it, weld back in". That way people could read it in rearview mirror. But too bulky.

I don't get the deal with making them so big that they hang way down, the first one that my friend ordered was so low that even with a 6" lift it had less ground clearance than my stock blazer

so as to protect the 1/2 ton axles or IFS parts . . . they cost money to fix . :doah:

Never been a fan of big bulky bumpers. My k5s have always had ord/baja style bumpers.
