You know, I had thought I remembered a stamped piece but figured I might just be old and not remember good. Wouldn’t mind a picture as I may have the thing laying around and if I knew what it looked like it might be easier to find.
I think you're wrong. It's a solid round rod with stamped ends to make them flat. I've got an unmolested blazer sitting at home. I'll try to remember to get a pic for you.
So on mine it has a rod in front of the tire and a stamped piece that goes behind.
I only have one on my passenger side rear, nothing on driver side. If you locate a source that please post.

I wonder if GM added that instead of the straight wire to keep debris from spraying on the back side of the body?
ah, the fender extension. I didn't realize that is what we were talking about. I may actually have some I could sell. I need to look for them.

No worries, I’ll build one. Only looking to “appear” stock not actually be stock.
On the drivers side it helps protect the fuel lines
