I finally got the clips edited together from the Blazer Safari in Southern California. If you've got over 300k worth of bandwidth (in other words DSL, Cable or better - no phone modems) then click on the link below. It’s in Windows Media Format, 21MB’s and hosted off my site which is running on the equivalent of dual T1's. I'm not serving it natively so it can progressive download - meaning if it gets a lot of hits and gets slow, you can leave it running and it will eventually cache to your hard drive. If you want, you can also right click on the link and select "Save As.." to copy to your desktop. Enjoy!

Wicked video...makes me glad I have cable! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun, was there much body damage? I saw a few close calls at the very least...

Absolutely the coolest video I've seen. Great job and thanks for sharing.

There was a bit of body damage, crunched door, some shaved paint, a ding in a cab and Kpanza with that close call got a scuff in the clear coat! I'm going to take more footage at the Arrowhead outing this Nov 4 that should be a bit more wicked and make for some better editing!

Michael, that is an AWESOME video - great job!! Man, you really captured the weekend well! I finally got to see my little duel with the "can opener" rock from a different angle than the driver's seat! I guess my bad luck with the electrical fire and blown brake hose the day before was changed to good luck when I missed that rock! Whew!!

Can't wait to go back, I was thinking - How sweet would it be to get all of us guys rounded up again for the Tierra del Sol Run in March?? Just think, we could have a large Blazer contingent to do battle with the hordes of Jeeps!!
smile.gif
And Silverwood should give us some great footage also!!

Thanks again for the video and all the work that went into it Michael!!

I used LightWave 5.5 for the intro animation, an Opsprey 100 for the raw capture and Adobe Premiere for the editing. Theres a bit of Photoshop in there too but not enough to really speak of.
If your having problems playing the video, make sure you have the Windows Media Player installed and the plugin enabled on your browser (unless you download it).
If you having problems playing it back... well, I'm having a bit of a bandwidth problem at the moment as the link to the video has somehow made it onto the Corvette forum as well as a ton of other sites and I'v served over 1130 streams since early (1 am) this morning. I can only serve around 10 simultanious streams before I'm saturated! (
I can't wait for the next trip, I'll have to have someone hold the camera while I go up so I can get myself in a few of these (the non damage ones I hope)

If its opening in Windows Media, you may need to perform an update to your player, theres a tab at the top for it. I took advantage of some newer codecs which improve the cleanliness of the video and may not be in your player yet. Windows Media Player usually goes out and gathers the appropriate decompressors automaticly but it wouldn't suprise me if that option failed. Make sure your connected to the internet when you play it so if its trying in the background, it can go get the codecs.

Sorry about the flag flying clip missing Esteban, The whole thing was getting kind of long and I opted to save it for the next video (which I will be doing that play on words so it will fit better)

Andy, your service provider is blocking non native ports, namely port 81. I had to move my web site to port 81 becuase my service provider blocked incoming traffic to port 80 as a combat for the last few worm viruses going around(even though its running linux and immune to the virus) - and they don't know I'm serving off it! Shhhhhh! I'm counting on their NOC being under staffed enough not to notice the insane flood of packets leaving my IP!
