LMC lists different part numbers for solid and sliding glass.

Not sure why LMC shows different part numbers Precision Replacement Parts (for my 1985) only shows one gasket that requires the lock strip . Fits Right or Left side. For Fixed or Sliders ...

Doesn’t it have a slight curve from top to bottom? Not sure if glass stores stock tempered glass like that.

It is curved, flat will not work well.
I did with plexiglass and I was able to make it slightly curve.
Can't do that with glass

Never knew a flush mount side window was available. $1k seems a bit steep though.

thats a whole lot not in this lifetime.........
Well obviously it's expensive and I would never spend that kind of money on it, but this a small company doing a small production number, it can't be cheap.
There are a few who will pay for that.

If I had the $$ I’d probably do the flush windshield to do away with the potential of a leaky windshield gasket. I kinda like how it looks too.

^^one of the reasons I am looking to get rid of the sliders. motor city k5 makes a seal kit for the sliders but it is way too expensive.
People will buy them. Not hoards of people, but people will buy them. Go to a national show such as Goodguys, there are always a good number of high end builds with flush mount glass.
