anyone cobble together a soft top or bikini form a Jeep top or other source as an easy DIY project.
Wanting to make a partial top that can be put up quickly to cover front passengers during summer rains etc. for my 1975 blazer

Just a cheap cool looking bikini style top cover

Pics and ideas appreciated

I guess a lot of it comes down to how clean of a look you want...went down this road with the Samurai and Scout, using CJ7 parts that were supposed to be "close enough". The CJ7 top on the Scout never did hold right, because it was a couple inches too wide, and was difficult at best to get it tensioned properly to not flap like crazy on the freeway. CJ7 soft doors on the Sammy worked...kinda, technically..not really, lol.

I suppose if you're looking to get out as cheaply as possible, sure, rig Jeep stuff to work. But I've also found that a lot of times, it may only cost another $100 over the Jeep stuff to have a shop custom cut and sew a top meant specifically for your vehicle, which will fit and function FAR above what the rigged stuff will do.

Will that gen 1 bar work on a 75?
Like that idea with a custom top as suggested

I couldn't even begin to hazard a guess... I've never had a full convertible K5.
