blazer to short bed frame swap ???

are the frame the same from a 76 blazer to a 78 short bed gmc.. and if not what will i have to do to make the truck body fit on the blazer frame ???

the cab should swap onto the blazer frame easily. Your kickup for the rear on the Blazer frame will be closer forward, and the frame is shorter, so you'll need to section out about 10 inches of the front of the bed and then it should fit on the Blazer frame. Then you'll have to relocate the Blazer fuel tank probably

We just swapped a pickup cab onto a blazer frame for my buddy.

You can see there is no way the bed will fit without the mods monster man was talking about.

I forgot to add that its way way easy and by far the best mod I have ever made to my Blazer.If you want to look for more info try searching under "truck cab swap" or "body swap".But those links I posted have answers to just about every body swap question ya might have.
