1978 Blazer. Anybody got a picture handy? Floor changed in 1978 just wondering about the rockers and I don't have anything that old around the shop any longer.

I thought 78-91 had the same floor, with the "leg room" for the rear passengers, i.e. the space behind the front seats is at the front's lower level, and not at the rear's higher level.

73-77 have the old style, but I thought '78 was the first year of the new style 'cuz the Chalets would no longer fit right.

You're right, same floor just didn't know 100% if those changes were extended all the way to the rockers and all was identical to the 81-91 floors/rockers.

Eh, now that I'm not 100% on, so we'll wait for somebody to pipe up. If I still had my M1009 I could go look :doah:

I'm pretty sure the tubs are identical from 78-91. What are you building?

Rock sliders. I think you're right.

Don't look like they've been messed with. Thanks for the pics, it does help. Got another couple emailed to me and looked at some other sources and they all look identical.

so that inner piece that just hangs there is suppose to be like that?

The piece that looks like a "C" channel hanging down near the frame. Runs parallel to the frame? YEP!

Yours looks a bit rough but it is supposed to be there.

Sorry Kert, I know I called you originally about the rock sliders and you gave me some measurements for the attachment points. I thought I had called you back to let you know that the 77.5(78)-80 have the braces for the floor in the same position and the sliders should bolt right up.

Basically when I measured out Krusty and my buddy's 79 the supports are spaced right and would line the rocker sliders up with the wheel well openings.
