blazer update question

im thinking of updating my 79' blazer to an 87's front end. my question is my fenders are brand new on the 79' , can i still retain those and replace the hood and other related items for the 87's look ?thanks ahead of time for any info.

Nope, its all or none. Look up top to the link in the technical section , that'll give you an idea. The hood won't work because the body lines are different. The grille wont work because 73-80s had a flat grille while the 81-88s have a slight bend in them. I actually prefer the look of the 70's Blazers. I never did care for the 83-88 look with the park lights hidden behind the grille, looks like they didn't know where else to put them.
