Was there ever a Blazer or Jimmy from 69-91 that did not have a removeable fiberglass top? I stopped to look at a '90 with 35's today on a small lot (not because I need one, but because I just like to see what other people have done with them) and another guy looking at it was all excited because it had a removeable top. I tried to explain to him that all of them did, but he insisted that his brother had one that was sheet metal all the way to the top. Naturally, I asked if maybe the Blazer had 4 doors (you know, Suburban) or was a 92+, but he was emphatic that it was a 1990.
So has anyone ever seen a K-5 without a fiberglass top, except for the Chalet and Casa Grande?
"They tell me that you can make it to work without big tires. I'm still not convinced."

It was the new body style and they hadn't renamed it to Tahoe yet.
