Blazer wont go over 35 MPH

If you idled the truck, then got on it (float bowl would be full if pump is working enough to do that) did it make a difference?

Just trying to figure out the commonality with your experience and his...still a lot of variables, but at idle the pump should easily fill the float bowl, and that should give you enough gas to get up to 30+MPH. (of course, assuming the pump was moving enough to fill it at idle)

Also, did you have weak performance even getting to 30MPH, or was it more like a wall that you suddenly hit that you couldn't overcome?

It seemed like if i idled it and then took off it would get up and go much better then accelerating after slowing down. ALthough i do have to push on the gas some to keep it idleing.

The performance getting to 30 MPH is weak as well but at 30 its like it hits a wall.

The first time i took off and drove it it drove fine up till 35 MPH and then it started dogging it. Also i shut it off and it sat for awhile then my dad drove it and it took right off for him but wouldnt get over 40. Then i drove it back and it was weak getting up to 35.
