in my opinion, if you want it to look more original, get some factory wheels, lose the chrome air cleaner and valve covers, and hide the red wire going to the power supply on the trans hump. but it does look super clean.

This is like deja-vu all over again. Didn't you just post up almost identical pics asking if it was too nice to wheel?

It's nice, now get over it...:D :p:

Did you get another grille recently? I was going to suggest you find an NOS grille with the bowtie. And did you paint the headlight bezels? They look good but from '75-'80 the insides were aluminum not black.

I agree about the air cleaner suggestion made earlier. The previous owner of my Blazer had a chintzy chrome air cleaner on it when I got it. I found a stock air cleaner on eBay and restored it (you've seen the pictures).:D

I would probably eliminate the chrome diff cover(s) too.
yah that was going to go i have a stock dana 44 cover sitting in my garage so.

The 12 bolt has a big cover for extra cooling (i am not gitting rid of that)

Your truck could also use the chrome wheelwell moldings if you have them. If not I'm sure they're available from either LMC Truck or Cheyenne Pickup Parts. If you haven't looked at Cheyenne Pickup Parts yet, check them out. They have lots of little odds and ends as well as large items for our trucks. I've been using them for years...

You need to find a pair of factory valve covers. The pair you have are not factory.

Wow that air clean looks good man

Would you recomend taping off the factory labels (they are still there well kinda):D

I bought a new label from a resto supply! It's not shown in the pics because I didn't have it yet. When I get home I'll post the name of the company, I don't remember at the moment...

It was the "Keep your GM truck all GM" label on the side.
