Anyone want to take a stab at artwork for the t-shirts and dash plaqes? Should be a hires .eps file maybe.
 
Unless someone else wants it more, I'll volunteer. Any links to previous years stuff I could use as reference?

I plan on having Vendors listed on the back, maybe have a horizontal graphic on top of that?
 
Cool, I'll draw up some ideas and post 'em here to see what people think. But don't let that stop anyone else from getting ideas.
 
Actually I think it would look cool to do that logo on the back with like 50-60% opacity and the vendors logos over the top of it all in black.
 
This is what I was thinking for the back of the shirts. I know they aren't all previous sponsors, but I was just looking for enough readily available logos to do a concept.

Ok, it's not great but here's a concept shot I put together to explain the idea.

I modified someone's image from the gallery to get the idea across. I think it would work better with a more stock "chevy" front end that would be more recognizable as a Blazer.

And the graphics need a lot more work to add details like Moab, Utah, ck5.com, etc. And I'm not crazy about the font either, but hey, it's 11 at night. :)

Any comments good or bad? (Don't worry about hurting my feelings if you don't like it at all. I do this stuff for a living and I get people telling me stuff looks like crap all day long)

I have some time and I can help out in any way that makes sense. If you want to modify the previous logo and use it, I can even generate some artwork to do that.

I know what your going for, but it would be easier to read with an image above the Vendor logos.
 
Something like that might not be bad for the front, then maybe something short and wide for the back that would be located above the listed Vendors?

Yea, that's a good idea. Is there an official vendor list posted?
 
Not yet, just wanted to get going on the shirt design, last years are on the left hand side of blazerbash.com.

Thanks Dave, but keep in mind this is for a t-shirt so needs to be somewhat simple.
 
Here's an update of the one I was doing. Does anyone else have a good pic of the front of their rig? Something that really recognizable as a chevy?

I'll try something smaller with the vendor logo's on the back. That brings up another question. What color shirts? I guess white is best for hot weather?

I like everything but the truck. I like the idea, just not the actual image. I like the way you did the date and place the most. :waytogo:
 
Yea, the truck is my least favorite part as well. Mine is torn apart so mine wouldn't make a good picture. You got one you can donate?

Take a look at the CK5 photo gallery, tons of pics in there, I would also get rid of the date and location and move that to the back of the t-shirt.
I think we should go with a black t-shirt, they will run a few bucks more for black but not to bad.
