So brother think it looks stupid and gave me some better ideas so its going to get cut out.

Hopefully the batteries will fit or at least not fall out after the cutting.

At this rate I will be pulling the heater box too :doah:

Which might not be a bad idea. I could mount both the batteries there. One on the inside, one on the out bolted to each other through the fire wall. ?? Something else to look at all my cables would fit though. Would just need to run some longer wires for the fans that is it.

If you don't plan on using the Burb during the winter months, the pulling the heater is a good idea.

Edit: I have a new fender that's unmolested if you need it. $50
 
So got alot done but no pictures till the morning

inner fenders are out
Batteries are on the firewall :waytogo:
Heater is gone
Dash pad is gone
extra wires are gone
E brake is gone

Have to mount the on board air valve thing
Mount the windshield washer bottle
re wire all the moved wires including both the batteries.
cut the fenders

all in about three days :doah:
 
Yeah me to so far

Pictures of work yesterday, and what I still have left to do

The battery trays are newer and bed lined which is one reason I did not want to cut them up especially because they can fit in my K30.

The blue hose is my on-board air lines so they need to be mounted.

Still need to cut my fenders.

Need to see if the glove box fits.

Need to run the wires for the batteries and mount the remote starter solenoid.
Have to figure out how to get power to the winch too

batteries are in and wired as well as the isolater (sp)

I have three external starter solenoids. One for each battery and I am using the other on the driver side a power distribution block might need to change that in the near future.

got the switch mounted for the on board air

got the windshield washer tank mounted hits the hood when you close the hood but it is not much of one. Was going to mount it to the firewall but it was going to be a little close to the tire. Front may be too close too but we will see.

The distribution block is mounted. Not permanent but it will suffice. Kind of seeing if I like it there and will probably build a bracket on the A/C compressor to bolt it to.

Oh and the radiator overflow is here did not get a chance to put it in yet.

I mounted a inverter also. it is being held on by magnets need to glue them to it so it has less of a chance to fall off. May mount it on the tunnel instead not sure yet.

Have to put another ground on also. I have one from the battery to the body, one to the engine from the battery, and from the engine to the frame. Only have the little stock one from the body to the frame so want to do a bigger one from the body to the frame.

The power distribution block, aka. starter solenoid, on the driver side is there because I had all that stuff wired to the battery and was simpler to do the instead of running all new wires for my fans and stuff. Going to have to change it though.

Looking good! Can't wait to see the dash after the bash. Should be a fun wiring project.

wiring is zip tied to death, (need to buy some stock in it)

Got started on the passenger side back gave the inner wall some beating with a sledge it needed some help. Going to be a tight fit when the tire get stuffed. Really wish I had a big piece of sheet metal and a cage would fix the problem very easy.

Although I am only taking five. I don't need my back seat in there I don't have to have inner fenders if no one is sitting back there.

Looks great!! You shouldn't have problems with the 40's now!
