Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

So I am feeling really bored, most years about this time I am thrashing. This year I am quite happily doing nothing. I have been making plans for time after Blazer Bash though.
Going to get about 7 sticks of HREW. Going to get 1 3/4, got the slider material already so just need the cage stuff..

So replaced one of my batteries yesterday, would not get above a 66% charge on it. Hooked up a trickle charger to the system also.

It has been a bit of time since I have driven it, kind of a bit of a stretch to get in it right now.

Last year my CB sucked every time I would key the mic it would squeal everybody on the channel. So bought a new one got it today. Going to put it in Monday.

Have cooler that is old as dirt and I got for free. Is so bad you would put ice in it and it would be water by the start of the trail. So got a new one of those too. It is already in, just had to un-box it and stick it in the back.

What did you get for a CB?

I have the same one. Seems to work fine and easy to use. I paired it with a Wilson 1000

Got the new CB in seems to work, the other one did also so we will see when I get to talk to somebody.

Got the crawling tires put on. Found a loose bearing on the left front so tightened that. Going to need new ones relatively soon they are making a bit of noise.

Got all the zerk's greased

Emptied out my ammo boxes make sure I have everything that I had last year, and to remind my self what I have in them. Put a little bungee on the jack handle to keep it from rattling around. Don't know if it was but better safe then sorry.

Picture is what I am carrying in my tool bag. Figure on trying to have any tool that I may need, with in reason. Got zip ties in the electrical box in case a leaf spring breaks.................
