Here are some random shots I took the other day, I promised me ole mate "SweetK30" I'd take some shots of the RHD vehicles I own, I will take more and better pics as time goes on, I have 4 blazers, a 1973, 1981, 1985, and a 1988, been workin on them off and on for years, but got a bit more serious about it lately, and hope to have the 88 on the road soon, I bought it to part out for the others, but I really like the front clip on this model and after having a good look at the rust I decided to just patch it up and drive it, it's had a fully rebuilt 700 fitted and is a 6.2, in fact apart from my lawn mower all my vehicles are diesel hahaha, funny that, anyway if any of ya want to see specific things on a RHD vehicle, let me know and I'll tray and get a pic of it for ya, the pics aint too good as the sun was out.
With the 88, I had to replace the rear diff carrier as some numb nuts decided to weld the spiders to the housing after it broke, major PIA to get to bits I also rebuilt all the brakes, including M/cyl, callipers, and new rear w/cyls, new pads and shoes, new Proportioning valve, fitted new shocks all round, 2nd hand speedo thanks to me ole mate Rene, 4 new tires, it will be my daily driver
This is the 88 I'm finishin the rust etc
I scored new headlight holders from LMC, still to be fitted, the others were toast
Temp fit up of the new tires, 33x12.50x15
Tailgate is actually attached now, when i got it, when you opened it, it fell off
Underneath shot of new tailgate support etc
Here is some of the rusted out sh!t, including the entire rear area where the tailgate hinges bolt up
Here's the sad old 73, poor old gal, she is in a bad way, started life as a petrol but got repowered with a 6.5 turbo, th400, np205, Ford nine inch diffs, dude spent a fortune on it, it's a long termer project
Her ass end
Here's the 85 and the 81, the 85 is "In Progress", a lot of new parts in this one, but a lot of work to go, will write up about it one day (the 85 is the brown one)
Turbo set up on brown one
Ok guys, I hate typin etc, but I hope I haven't boared yas too much
