I was watching Jaws today, and he had a nice looking Blue and White K5. The year I guess is around when the movie was made (78,79(?)). Anyway are anyone see K5's in other movies?

There is a K5 in "Lake Placid". Also in one episode of "Macguyver" a sherrif has a K5 with a 4 speed. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Spielberg's "Jaws," starring Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss, hit theatres in 1975...just so everyone knows. I saw S.W.A.T. the other night and there is a brief shot of a topless K5 housing a very ill-tempered guard dog during a scene featuring LAPD's finest (LL Cool J) chasing a guy through an alley. Also, Heath Ledger's character, Patrick, drives a nice K5 in "10 Things I Hate About You."

My two favorite movies are (pretty sure they are both blazers) "The Animal", at the end where they jump an old K5 off a huge cliff before they role it and "Bulletproof" where another nice truck jumps about a 10 ft drop(possibly a bronco /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif), anyways those are my favorites, big trucks doing big jumps!

When I drive my K5 I pretend I'm in a movie... does that count? And I'm not talkin "Driving Miss Daisy" I'm talkin "Road Warrior" baaaby...

how about the one in Arnold Schwarz ' s movie Commando i think? right in the beginning. they pull his wires and he pushes it down a hill and jumps in!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm kind of partial to pickups so I'd have to say Varsity Blues. And, of course, The Fall Guy series.

Other than that, there were K5s in a lot of things but mostly "guest appearances". Streethawk had K5s in it periodically if I remember correctly even though the "evil" guy drove a Furd.
