I need to bleed the brakes on my Yukon. I have gone through 2 bottles of fuild before I realized that something was up. With all the bleed screws closed and the brake pedal depressed, I can see air being forced into the resouvoir. Now this air isnt coming from the lines as I only get fuild out of them, so I'm guessing its the ABS modulator that has air trapped in it. How do I get it out?

Different systems have different procedures. Some ABS units actually have bleeders on them. I think Volkswagen has those.

Some of the earlier units could be damaged or even ruined by improper bleeding procedures, but I have not hear about that happening lately.

In most of the units, if you have air "above" the ABS unit you will have to have a scan tool that will let you cycle the unit.
The best way is to have a pressure bleeder hooked up with one wheel open while you cycle the unit with the scan tool.
I think you have to do it twice. Once with one brake circuit open and then the other one open.

But you need to find out the correct shop method. Hopefully someone here will know the right one for your car.
