You know the "Blind Fasteners" that are used in our doors to hold the mirrors:

Anyone know where to get these?
 
I call bought some a while back. I think it was from Grainger. IIRC they are called Nutserts or something like that
 
Napa actually has them, and they are called a Jack Nut/Well Nut (or at least that is what THEY list them as LOL
 
I've got a "Rivet-nut gun" I use alot. Mounting my mid eighties mirrors on the '75 was the last thing I used it for. JC Whitney carries 'em too. Great tool!!!
 
The drawing you show looks like a Nutsert or a Rivenut. Different name, different mfgr, same principle.
Grainger, McMaster-Carr, Northern Tool... I'm sure there's others. Just stay away from the aviation suppliers - it's high quality stuff, but probably 4x the price. You don't need aviation quality for your mirrors...
