Block/Carb Identification??

Ok, I have this series of numbers on the front of the drivers side head:
14085743

Anyway of identifying the block from this series of numbers? If not where else should I look to figure out what year this beast is?

The Quadrajet has these numbers:
17085212
1336 HPA

I have searched online and come up with some numbers that are close for both, but nothing exact yet.

Any help or links will be greatly appreciated.
