I need a block heater for an 88' J code 6.2. I cant find block heaters anywhere. Phillips/Temro makes em but I dont know where to buy their parts. All help appreciated.

Yup, NAPA has the heater with a new cord. Go ahead and replace them both - it's not that much more expensive. I wanna say $18 for both??

Oh my gosh. Just went to Napaonline and they've got like 30 different ones listed??? The cheapest one was like $25 and it went up from there. I'm not sure why there are SO many ones other than the length of the cord but that shouldn't justify that much increase in price! Measure your cord and pick one out on line. They're nothing more than a heating element and an electrical cord attached to it - not worth $65 and definitely not worth any more than that. Good luck.
