blower motor replacement on a newer chevy

dad just bought a 2005 single cab 2wd silverado.

the heater blower motor is needing replaced

anybody know how hard it is to do and and tips

20 minute job. Screws in from the interior into the bottom of HVAC box. You sure its the motor itself. Most people dont think to scan the vehicle for DTC's relating to HVAC, but its a fairly smart system. You have to get to a good scan tool that will allow you scan the HVAC control module. Just a thought

it was the motor, took longer to find it than replace it, man that was easy.
