Blue steel winch synthetic winch rope

Id do a search on the company that makes the rope and try and find customer reviews to see what other people think of it.Could be a $2 piece of rope scam for all you know.Ive never seen rope rated at that high a breaking point before so doesnt seem right to me.JMO

I have some that's made by Rugged Ridge... 3/8ths by 94'... Cost $250...

I'd say $99 is a pretty good deal for rope only a 1/16th smaller than mine...

Says it's made out of Dyneema fiber, same stuff mine is made from... It's used in ballistic body armor and 40% stronger than kevlar...

You'll need a aluminum hawse to use it or a synthetic roller fairlead...

The seller has a good rating...

Haven't had any experience with heat, so no info there...

Yah thats exactly what I am finding out all over the web. There is no solid info about it. Everyone is pretty much on the its too cheap to be be good bandwagon. Very little info on the actual product, a lot of speculation

I know there are alot 2 dyneema fibers out there, sent the seller a question we will see if they respond , yes I know I will need an aluminum fairlead

I think I will just get steel cable, I have seen all sorts of synthetic cable break. It seems to break all the time, easy to fix, but if you take care of steel cable and replace when necessary, there is little chance of it breaking.

I picked up mine at a local 4x4 shop, probably the most trusted around here... Won a raffle and use the gift certificate to buy the rope and hawse...

It says Dyneema SK-75 on the box, noticed in the ebay ad it only says Dyneema...

I haven't heard any complaints from anyone up here about it...

The big thing with pirate is all the bandwagon guys... It's hard to sift threw all the BS...

Pretty sure this rope is the dyneema 60 stuff not the 75 but can't really verify that.
