hey i needed some opinions and experiences with boatsides. im gonna be boatsiding my k5 and wana try to keep it as light as possible but i dont want the plate to dent at the same time. for the boatsides should i use 2x4 1/4'' wall or 3/16'' also for the plate that goes from the 2x4 to the frame should it be 1/4'' or 3/16'' it will be brace with either 1.75'' tube.
if anyone has pics that would help out as well
specs on the k5 are as follows
350/350/203/205
d60 14b
39.5X15 tsls on 15X10 mrt beadlocks
it will b all tube this summer.

i believe willywanter is using aorblahblahblah that 3/16" thick and its been holding up for him

ya i talked to him about his ar360 plate. he said its been holding up great. he said he landed so hard it bent one of the supports but the plate was fine. i heard that stuff costs out the nose though
