Body Bushings

I have the set of energy bushings you linked to. Nothing to report. they fit fine and I forgot about them. Everything was there in the box.

The bushings can only be shaped so many ways so I would think the prothane ones would fit fine.

I am using the energy suspension ones as well. Almost done. I have to drop the tank to finish the last two. I'm going to throw the shackle flip on at the same time. I've had it for a year, might as well install it.

I have never heard of the other company. I went with energy b/c of the name and reputation. Not much help, I know.

I got the energy suspension Kit. I shoulda shopped around. Got mine at autozone for $99.

It was a pain to put together because the bolts and the mounts in the body were rusted out with the floor. Did a lot of welding/fabbing new mounts. I'm glad its overwith.

But you're in Texas so you should be able to reuse the old ones.

I just bought a set of energy suspension body mounts. Didn't save my old steel sleeves, now I have to find more of them. Don't dispose of your old stuff until the truck is back together!

BTW, I got mine from www.energysuspensionparts.com ... They're a couple bucks more than summit, but they ship in $8 flat rate boxes. Summit wanted $35 shipping + 8.99 handling to ship the same thing to me (in hawaii).

That's because you're in Hawaii. Shipping in the lower 48 is only $9.
