"body exhaust cut outs"?

Not really sure what to call these. I have seen several cars/trucks over the years where the exhaust exits out the side of the car through a cut out.

Til you blacken the side of your vehicle... Ive only seen them exit before rear wheels and they usually are apart of a body kit. I own a late model mustang with som mods and have seen quite o few side exhausts. The issue is the 90 degree and sometimes 180 degree (yes pipe turns and goes to front of vehicle ) required to do this is not a good way to make HP. Might as well run side pipes or better yet go twin 4-5 inch stacks!!!

problem with most Chevy's is that the frames almost always hang lower than the body. means you have to go below the frame to do that. So from the side you see the exhaust below the frame then out the body. Not so good looking.

Just kidding dude, I've thought about it too, but I don't think there's any real good way to do it.

Between rock rash and the low hanging frame I think you shoot'em straight out the back. Maybe thru a custom bumper.

hole in the frame is no biggie, box it on the backside...


i plan to run long tubes or custom builts that come out through the fenders...

I too have thought about it.... would a body lift of some sort provide clearance enough for the exhaust to fit between the body and the frame or would that not be a good idea?
