I'm working on shock mounts and I'm not really sure how much allowance I need to give for the body to move with respect to the frame. This comes up on the front because my mounts are near the steering and AC. In back, one of my rear mounts wants to be up high near the body. Any ideas? I left about 1/4" between the mount and the bed in the back, maybe I need more?

No actual constructive input, but you might mention whether you have rubber or poly body mounts as I suspect that will make a difference.

Also, you could raise alternating corners of the truck to tweak your frame if you have a Hi-Lift or an engine hoist, empirically determining how robust your crossmembers are :haha:
