on ORD's website the have the 1in body lift. Now they have separate part numbers for different years. Would the pucks be all the same and the difference in the mounts/bolts?

I have the 10 aluminum 1in pucks from a kit for a 73. If I'm using my own mounts and hardware will the pucks be interchangeable between the years?

body lift pucks are all same ( 1" = 1" 2" = 2" )

diffrence is in # of body blocks required and hardware lengths.

If you are buying a body lift for a pick-up truck, it is best to buy the pucks alone with no hardware, and just get the hardware yourself at a hardware store.

This is because the hardware for the bed of the truck uses saddle headed bolts for the bed, and two very long bolts for the center of the bed, where the frame dips. Bolts this long for the center of the bed are not manufactured for common use (unless they are “one off” specialty ordered), which is why I used 8-grade “all thread”.

I did ORD 1” body lifts on two of my pick-up trucks. I removed the old bolts, then measured their length, and just bought 8-grade bolts from Home Depot that where 1’ longer for just a couple of dollars each. Home Depot also sells saddle headed bolts that are 1” longer as well for the bed of the pick-up (but they are only 5-grade). I then went to an industrial hardware store to buy 8-grade “all thread” for the long center bolts of the bed, and cut them to proper length. I used nuts and washers at both ends of the “all thread” to secure it to the bed.
