Newbie
I'm in the process of finishing off the installation of a 3 inch body lift on a 1989 Suburban and I was hoping to get some opinions on extending the steering shaft.
I've read on this forum that some guys don't replace the nylon pins that hold the two peices of shaft together. That's where I'm at right now. Everything seems to work just nice and it seems very strong without the pins.
Is this what most guys are doing? Or are you replacing them? Is there a good reason to replace them?
Thanks!
