any of you with a 73-80 K5 run without the factory trim?

I found some rust under my 79s trim. Thinking about leaving it off when I fix it.

Been checking out photos online, a solid color without trim looks good.

Mine is solid white, may give it a go.

I like the look of the trim but it was an option. Lower trim level trucks didn’t get it at all. They look fine that way.

There are a few holes that you’ll have to fill if you remove all of the trim. They’re all small enough to buzz up with a MIG gun.

I think it looks better with trim.

If you do happen to go without the trim, don't trash it. People still look for the original GM stuff.
