I put poly mounts and ORD 1" BL on about a year ago on my 88. Pretty straightforward as long as the original bolts aren't rusted away. Trans adjustment was no biggie. I had to adjust filler neck a little, but the original rubber hose was reused. I just trimmed the bottom of the fan shroud so it wouldn't hit. I'd do that part before jacking the body. I didn't realize it, but my fan and shroud were touching before I trimmed it after the lift.
I didn't see a particular question, but here's a couple tips:
1. start soaking with rust penetrant now
2. Loosen trans linkage, remove filler neck clamp, and unfasten fan shroud before jacking body. Everything will be in a bind if you don't.
3. It helps to ratchet strap the frame to the axles. Otherwise the frime rises as you jack the weight of the body off.
4. Don't use an impact. The carriage bolts in the back are a pain if you spin em. Also, they are tack welded to the floor of the bed. Leave the weld while you remove the nuts, but grind it off before trying to drive the bolt out.
That's all I can remember.
