Body Mount Bushings

Hey guys,

It's a newbie question but I need to ask it. I'm buying an 1987 Short box 4x4 this week and it has a home made 3" square tubing body lift. I plan on removing this body lift and putting a proper 1" body lift with new bushing.
I'm wondering if the box is suppose to have body mount bushing or does it bolt right to the frame?
I have my flame suit on so fire away :D

Thanks for your help!

Box bolts right to frame...

What part of Canada?

Ok thanks!

BC eh... grew up near Kokanee Beer, then moved to Campbell River and now I'm near Petawawa Ontario... Sure miss beautiful BC!

Stick around, there are quite a few of us Canucks here. Custom Chevy, and Darkshadow are two in Ontario that I know of...that are active anyways.

You prolly wouldn't be missing BC much this summer, been pretty cold, wet and crappy so far. Spring was good, but we haven't had a decent warm snap yet this year. Sposed to be more summer like this week though.

Thanks for the welcome! Hopefully I'll get my "new" truck to my place some time this week... So I can be a legitmate member and not just a poser!

Summer what? With humidex we were at about 43• today. Not like it matters though for me... Broke my leg 6 weeks ago so my offroading summer season and all my other plans are screwed!
