Guys, I have never replaced these mounts before. Right now I have a broken bolt issue, once I get that resolved, how does this stack up in the truck? This is for the passenger side right at the fire wall

I know the big piece with the center sleeve goes on the mount coming off the truck frame facing facing down, I just don't see where the square piece goes? I assume the rubber cup comes up from the bottom with the bolt and big washer

these are from LMC

I have always used the square washer as a shim between the cab and the big piece with center sleeve. Some of the trucks I have taken apart had them some didn't.
Everything else goes where you said.

well I got they replaced today, I did not use the square washer.

Another note, I got lucky getting out the old bolts. What I did was drill a small hole in the side of the support member that the nut is captured up in, just big enough to get the little red nozzle from my liquid wrench, and I just kept soaking it.

Does anyone know if it makes a difference if you install the shim or don't install the shim. What is the deciding factor if you do or don't? I did not take one out from the old one. Not that it was correct previously....

My guess is that plate goes between the cab mount floor support (the metal part welded to the floor),and the rubber cushions and washers--to serve two purposes--spread the load across the full width of the floor support, and to prevent moisture that might get trapped between the rubber cushions and the floor support from rotting the support out, over time..

You're body panel alignment is what decides if you need the shim. If you can't get the nose low enough for the fender to door gap to be even, as in too wide at the bottom, you would need to bring the front of the tub up.
