Body mount question...

I have a 1987 suburban frame that I am placing a pick up cab on. I will be replacing all the mount, but the pickup cab does not need all of them. Can a set for a 1987 pickup cab fit the sub frame?
Also, is there a difference between 4-wheel drive and 2 wheel mounts? I have found several kits, but little info on them.
