Like tubed the frame or just ditched most of the body and tubes the rest?

I have a semi stock frame with a firewall and some of the orginal floor. Frame is gonna get less stock here in a bit though

Guy from Ohio did a tube body onto his blazer frame. I just can't remember his name right now. He was GMOTM a few years ago

EDIT: JK5 was the name I was thinking of

Is this what you are talking about?

look at the last couple pics of the infamous Urban Assault Vehicle (the guy who started this site is the one who built it). Towards the end, he had the ORD guys pull the entire body off and just tube it like a buggy and 4-link the rear....off of the original frame if I remember right

Been part of a couple

Best advice, build a buggy don't start with the frame

Was just about to edit my post and say this exact same thing. You could even buy a "buggy in a box" from Goat Industries like MNorby did and go from there. There are a lot of ways you can go to get a buggy that will actually be easier and maybe even cheaper.

This times 8 billion.

Just for kicks this is how mine ended up

Its getting further and further towards a full out and out buggy that I am fixing the 2 or 3 things that really really bug me. Leaf spring front and the steering and then no more mods and gonna start building a full buggy

I kinda built one years ago. Stock pickup frame sucks for everything related to a tuber.

Played with it only a few time then sold it off.
