Body Panels

Trying to find some bed sides for my 90 Blazer. The Body shops usual sources are coming up empty handed.

LMC - Quality sucks from what I have heard and do not actually supply full box sides for a blazer.

Classic Industries - Anyone have experiance with their quality? They only have 1 side in stock at the moment and want me to try back later....

I dont really want to go the patch pannel route as they usually rust out very quickly. The truck is in such beautiful shape otherwise so if that is my last resort I guess I will have to go with that option.

Does anyone have a better source or for body pannels?

Is the whole quarter panel rusted out? Or just the wheel wells?

I had mine redone just over a year ago at the college body shop. They would have ordered the panels through crosscanadaparts.com but I had already bought a set through NAPA (which I think came from the same place anyway). I paid $1000 for two rear quarters and two outer rockers shipped to the local NAPA store.

You can also search online. Not too long ago there was a set for sale on kijiji.ca in Manitoba. I've also seen NOS GM ones from time to time, which has much thicker and stronger sheetmetal than that crappy overseas stuff. But I have it on mine and I'm happy with how it turned out.

NAPA - I would go there and get a quote if I were you. Mine only had one dent from shipping and it was easy to fix

Where are you taking the K5 to get the work done? You might want to look into local autobody shop schools/colleges, they charge much less than regular autobody shops and I've been lucky with excellent results:
