Ok here it is....I am doing a frame up resto on my 73 Blazer. Now comes the problem I recently put the body back on the frame after having it powder coated. Now I put the hard top back on an it was way off at the windshield. I measured the top it is pretty square. Well I replaced all the body mounts and figured out the body mount under the windshield frame needed to be shimmed up well I did that and it took about 3/4 inch of shims to get it right on the passanger side and 5/8 on the driver side.
Could this be right? There were no shims on it before the dissasembaly...
What am i missing?
I put on the new front fenders on and looks like I am gonna need to shim the front body mount too in order to get algnment.
Could my frame have twisted moving it around?
