So i have this crazy idea. found a great deal on the following items

- 86 1 ton k30 drw 4x4
-Int DT466/7spd

now i know that the dt466 wont fit without crazy modifications. i mean cutting firewall, bodylift, doghouse etc.

this is where it gets crazy. i have a 95 rust free reg cab. given the difference in cab mounting i feel if i were to put this cab on the frame i would get "natural" body lift and an updated interior etc....

am i crazy??? lol

Just go with a 12 valve Cummins and be done with it , I have never seen a DT out of it's home (trucks it came in) but it looks really big, I know my 12v looks alot bigger out of a truck so I can only imagine what a DT would look like.

if you google it you can find people that are talking about doing it or people that are. i didnt find any pictures or anything but it sounds like its doable
