body swap!

i have a 89 blazer and the body is trashed and i was wondering if i took another older k5's body and put it on would everything line up ok even if its a 2 wheel drive i've heard both that it would be ok and that it wouldn't line up

thats fine as long you can find a body from a 81 to 91..... older body styles from 73 to 80 wont fit since there are differences in frame design and body mount locations

also make sure the frame isnt kinked first before moving on

I replaced mine. It was a 80 and I replaced it with an 82. The Major difference was whether or not it was an airconditioning one or not. The AC model has a different firewall opening that if you don't have ac will have to bechanged. The windshield wipers are different pre 81 and up. The frames and mounts were the same. The hood was different. Pretty much everything just mounted up.
