81-up same family of body lines. but are we talking truck or blazer. i think there is a blazer diffrence . be it small i cant recall.
if you want to keep tbi efi system swap tank and lines and few extra wires. then make sure you swap all sensors or best is swap motor .
if your carbed motor has to big a cam efi wont like it. custom chip will be required. but then you need the cam specs. and www.tbichips.com is a great site and products.

It is a blazer and the 84 body is going on an 87 frame. the 87 body is going to the crusher. I am going to keep a lot out of the 87 interior though. the only reason I'm doing this is because the guy I bought it from made it a full convertabler. The only thing that worries me is the wiring.
Wiring is the easy part. Getting the body up high enough, safely, to fit over the frame is the pain.
Front seats don't interchange BTW.
Since you are swapping bodies and interior stuff, simply swap the wiring harness when you have all the interior out.

Cool, that's reassuring. I have race seats and some modifications I am going to have to make to the rollcage, also...it too tall. I am going to get all the folks in the neighborhood to help me when I am going to move the body over. I'm thinking that if I'm careful most of the 84 in cab wiring will stay, I'm just worried about the ECM...I just need to dive into it...Thanks!
You will be better off just taking the wiring out of the '87 intact, fuse panel and all. It's just as much work to do half of it as it will be to do all of it, especially when doing a body swap. Everything has to be disconnected anyways.
The ECM and what not are "hard wired" into the fuse panel. The later fuse panel is better.
