No idea if there's a thread on this... Sorry if I didn't look hard enough lol.

I've been trying to learn a bunch about body work lately, since I'm currently elbows deep in rust repair on my burb.

These two channels have taught me the most of any I've watched. They really explain what's going on and why. And at the same time, they do it right.

There's definitely a huge amount of work that goes into this stuff.
I'm definitely digging the metal shaping thing.
So far I'm still in the ball pean hammer and scrap anvil stage. (Using anything in the shop I can find to get the shape I need lol)

I was at a friends body shop last week. Does classic cars only. Keeps trying to hire me. He was using a hand held, air powered plannishing hammer. It was amazing. I have seen short videos, but the speed of work it can do in the right hands is nuts.

He wanted me to wire 2 cars at his shop. Nope.

Check out Make it Kustom on you tube. If you're looking to rework factory metal, or you just enjoy watching pros and learning tricks you'll probably never use.

Karl Fisher is amazingly talented. Even though I'll never get to use 90% of his tips I feel like an accomplished body man after watching his videos.

Yeah, I've watched quite a few of the make it custom vids :thumb:
Thats a great channel for it too.

Vile Kyle is pretty talented, I love his 36 Chevy, and the chicken Truck he is building.

Cold War Motors is another good channel that has a lot of good body work, panel making and repairing etc.
