I'm at the point of starting work on my other truck, and I have a friend who did the work on my K5 5 years ago, and so I started hunting for the best repair panels I could find. Now the panels your going to get from say AMD or NPR or Ecklers or LMC are going to be 20 Gauge. Now that's OK I guess for a repair, but you'll be doing yourself a big favor to use 16 or 18 gauge metal, and you can get them from RayBuck Co.https://raybuck.com/panels This company stocks their own stampings and they are high quality and will give you your best bang for the buck. They have almost every year you could need. Their no more expensive than 20
Gauge, but are a lot more stable when welding them in and will last a lot longer. Some parts/panels are 16 gauge, the best, and others are 18 gauge all will last quite awhile. Take a look and I hope this helps.
